I'm Biftu, the creator behind each of these lovingly crafted candles and home and personal fragrance products. My journey began as a hobby in my kitchen, where the enchanting aromas and soft glow of candlelight became a source of wellness and tranquility for me.

Like many, I always had multiple candles in my home, which always brought specific memories of family, friends, love, relaxation , and connection. During and after the pandemic, I experienced significant burnout in my role as an OBGYN and educator. I needed something to recharge my wellbeing and spirit so I could continue my calling of caring for others. I stumbled upon candlemaking, which brought such incredible soothing and joy to my body and mind in creating candles that evoked such beautiful memories and a sense of peace that was transformative - and abundant! And it clicked that there are so many others who would benefit from me sharing my creations, cultivating those same feelings. I realized that my lifelong passion for caring for others with my hands, heart, and mind could extend beyond my important work as a physician and to my role as an artisan.

I feel great privilege and pride in being able to create products that not only fill any room with beautiful aromas and illumination, but also help to nurture the body and soul through memories, emotions, and tranquility. I also take great pride in ensuring everything I hand create is made from only the finest and most luxurious products, which are all nontoxic, vegan, paraben and phthalate free - always.

I've poured (pun intended!) my heart and soul into everything you see here. I'm not just about selling candles and scents; I aim to help create wonderful experiences for you that will be just as long-lasting as my products, and beyond.
